| Cyberoam UTM Introduces Parent Proxy Support for Middle East Security Market |

| Elitecore Technologies Ltd., the makers of Identity-based Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliances, today announced the support for parent proxy, a HTTP proxy server configured for Cyberoam. With this development, Cyberoam can be deployed as a HTTP proxy server along with the support for parent proxy. |

| A large number of Internet users in Middle East do not access the Internet directly. The connection has to be channelled through a proxy server to ISPs proxy server. The purpose for the same being the blocking of banned sites or the objectionable content, which the proxy will refuse access to. Thus, the parent proxy support is required in cases where there is a need for proxy server to connect to an upper- layer proxy server, called the parent proxy. By inclusion of parent proxy support, Cyberoam can now be successfully installed at such places where the Internet access is available only through a proxy server, without the support of which the HTTP traffic is blocked by ISP or upstream Gateway. |

| Cyberoam Parent proxy support also facilitates enhanced Internet security as all the HTTP requests generated in any enterprise, will be first inspected by Cyberoam before being routed to ISP’s proxy server. As a result of this routing, Cyberoam will inspect all the HTTP traffic and implement content filtering and HTTP Virus scanning. Enterprises having Cyberoam thus benefit from Cyberoam’s powerful content filtering feature, facilitating complete control over indiscriminate surfing with user identity-based policies for different level of access controls in accordance with their business needs. Also, the HTTP virus scanning provides powerful defence against new virus attacks. |

| The parent proxy support is included in Cyberoam’s latest version - Version 9.4.1.2. This new version also has other notable additions like reports of the files uploaded via HTTP in the Cyberoam site-wise web surfing reports. This helps Cyberoam customers adhere to compliance requirements due to complete user-wise web upload traceability. |
