Cyberoam partners with CCNY for distribution of Unified Threat Management Appliances in North America

( Secaucus, New Jersey - 23 October, 2006 )

Cyberoam, the provider of Unified Threat Management (UTM) Appliances, today announced the appointment of CCNY as a Master Reseller for its UTM appliance series across North America. The agreement marks a significant step in Cyberoam’s channel network build-up in North America.

Cyberoam appliances offer Internet security to enterprises of all sizes with a complete set of security features that include an identity-based firewall, VPN, anti-virus, anti-spam, content filtering, intrusion detection and prevention, bandwidth management and multiple link management on a single platform. Cyberoam is the only UTM that embeds user identity in firewall rule matching criteria, eliminating IP addresses as intermediate components to identify and control the user. This offers instant visibility and proactive controls over security breaches. Also, this delivers complete security in dynamic IP environments like DHCP and Wi-Fi where the user cannot be identified through IP addresses.

"CCNY has decided to take a strategic position with Cyberoam because of their unique ID-based security offering to the SME Community to guard them against external threats as well as unauthorized access to their mission critical business data,” says Mr. Scott Fluty, President, CCNY. "

“CCNY’s industry leading experience of over 15 years in providing exceptional service for quality products and more than 4 years of experience in offering a variety of network security products will enable Cyberoam to establish a strong foothold in the region.”, says Greg Caravello, Vice President Sales, Cyberoam. “CCNY partnership brings to us their experience in the security arena and deep understanding of the region.”

Cyberoam Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliance offers integrated Internet security to over 1000 enterprises globally, including corporations, educational institutions and government organizations. With offices in USA and India, Elitecore has a vast channel partner network that helps Cyberoam penetration in the regions like Asia, Africa, Middle-East, Egypt and more.
